It’s time to meet a longstanding member of the Financial Services team at Country Ford, Curtis Irwin, who has been with them for almost two decades. It’s employees like Curtis that contribute to making FFUN such a great place and it’s time that we sat down with him to get to know him beyond his time spent at the dealership.
Curtis’s journey began before the FFUN group took over and his tenure at Country Ford started in sales, mastering the art of helping customers find their dream vehicle. But as they say, change is the only constant, and in 2012, FFUN rolled into town. It was then that Curtis decided to switch gears and transitioned into the world of finance.

1. Where are you originally from?
Curtis, born and raised in Wilkie, SK, has deep roots in the area. His wife’s family also calls Wilkie home, and they have two wonderful children – a 14-year-old son and an 11-year-old girl.
2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Curtis and his family make an annual tradition out of heading to Palm Springs—it’s their absolute favourite place on Earth! But if Curtis were to adventure to a place they’ve never explored before, he’d set his sights on the tropical paradise of Hawaii.
3. What are three bucket list items you have?
One of Curtis’ bucket list items is to explore beyond Palm Springs, and they dream of visiting Hawaii or taking a trip outside of Canada. It’s all about adventuring as a family..
4. If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would do?
If Curtis were to win the lottery, he’s got his sights set on a new ride, possibly a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. Of course, he’s also got a responsible side, and he’d make sure to set aside some funds to ensure the kids are well-prepared for their post-secondary education.
5. Describe yourself in one word.
Friendly.
6. Do you have a favourite food?
For Curtis, his absolute favourite is street tacos, especially the ones with el pastor filling.
7. Pineapple on pizza, yes, or no?
Curtis, with a hint of hesitation, leans towards yes. He admits that he wouldn’t choose to put pineapple on his pizza, but if it happens to be there, he’ll happily enjoy a slice.
8. What do you love about working at FFUN?
Curtis shares that he loves being part of the FFUN team. He finds it awesome to be part of a group where there’s an incredible atmosphere, and he truly appreciates the opportunity to grow and gain knowledge from his work peers. The shared knowledge among colleagues and the chance to work in different places and dealerships make his job even more exciting. Curtis also mentions that the supportive environment at FFUN is part of what makes it such a great working environment.
9. What does Relentless Execution mean to you?
Curtis explains that it embodies the essence of the FFUN culture. He emphasizes that it’s all about unwavering dedication to one’s goals, prioritizing them, consistently delivering results, and seeing through what you begin.
10. What do you like to do in your free time?
Curtis loves spending quality time with his children while watching them at their activities such as dance and playing hockey—he loves it! Additionally, he has a passion for travelling, and he and his family often take weekend getaways to Saskatoon to spend some time in the city. You can also find Curtis out for a walk with his Yorkie pup.
11. What’s your favourite ice cream flavour?
Without any hesitation, Curtis responded with chocolate chip cookie dough.
12. Name three songs in your playlist?
Curtis says that he’s pretty laid back when it comes to music choices and often just listens to the radio. With that being said, he admits that his playlist contains an abundance of Taylor Swift, courtesy of his daughter.
13. How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse?
Curtis, not being your typical tough guy, humorously admits that his chances of surviving such an ordeal are rather slim. His strategy? Make sure he can outrun the zombies, as he’s not prepared for an apocalypse of any kind!
